For the purpose of these terms and conditions of business the following words and phrases shall have the following meanings:
i) “We”, “Us”, “Our” and “The Company” refers to Cleaners of London
ii) “The Operative”, “The Cleaner”, “The Supervisor” or “The Team” refers to employees or representatives appointed by Cleaners of London.
1.Confidentiality / Privacy Policy
1.1: Cleaners of London is committed to protecting the privacy of our clients, safeguarding the confidentiality of all information entrusted to us and protecting the Client`s business interests at all times. We handle all personal information in accordance with Data Protection regulations.
1.2: Cleaners of London will not divulge information howsoever learned about The Client, The Clients associates to any third party, unless this is deemed necessary by law enforcement/legal warrant.
2.Quotations & Deposits
2.1: Cleaners of London will provide a copy of our current prices and services upon request. There are no membership fees for using our services. We reserve the right to change our prices at any time.
2.2: Cleaners of London quotations are valid for a period of 30 days. Cleaners of London reserves the right to retract or change any quotation where the cleaning specification changes or the original provided is found to be incorrect.
2.3: By accepting an Cleaners of London quotation, the customer agrees to adhere to our terms of business.
2.4: Cleaners of London reserves the right to request full debit or credit card details t confirm the booking.
3.Payment, Invoices & Receipts
3.1: Cleaners of London requires payment by Cash, MasterCard, Visa, Maestro or Cirrus upon completion of works, unless prior arrangements have been made in writing.
3.2: Account customers will be invoiced on completion of works, or at agreed timescales and payment is due with 14 days from the date of the invoice. Please quote your invoice number as the reference.
3.3: Payment terms are strictly 14 days from the date of invoice, where an invoice is not settled in full within 14 days a surcharge of 2% per week will be applied unless a prior written agreement has been established.
3.4: Account customers can make payment via Cash, MasterCard, Visa, Maestro, Cirrus and BACS transfer.
3.5: A £20 administration fee will be charged for all dishonoured/unpaid cheques.
3.6: Where the Client specifically requests for work to be undertaken during unsociable hours, (i.e. late evenings, Sundays and public holidays) a surcharge may be applicable.
4. Cancellation Policy
4.1: Cleaners of London operates a 24 hour cancellation policy, with the exception of jobs booked to be completed on a Monday. If the Client would like to cancel a job booked for Monday, they must do so no later than the preceding Saturday.
4.2: Failure to notify the Company within the cancellation period will incur a £50 charge. This charge will be automatically taken from the card used to secure the booking.
5. Completed Jobs, Insurance & Peace of mind
5.1: Cleaners of London has the necessary public and employer`s liability insurance for your peace of mind. Any accidental damage caused by an operative of Cleaners of London will be covered under these policies and the necessary steps will be taken to repair or replace the damage caused.
5.2: Cleaners of London will not be held liable for any cash or jewellery please ensure such items are securely locked away for your peace of mind.
5.3: All Cleaners of London operatives are thoroughly vetted and trained to undertake the duties they are carrying out. The customer is recommended to check the quality of the cleaning immediately upon completion where possible.
5.4 In the unlikely situation where the customer is not happy with the standard of works received, the customer must report any dissatisfaction to Cleaners of London with 48 hours of the job being completed. Cleaners of London will always attempt to rectify an issues or problems in a mutually satisfactory manner. Please not that Cleaners of London will not be held responsible for any cost incurred by getting a third party involved without allowing us the opportunity and reasonable time to resolve the matter.
5.5: Inventory checks on rental properties must be scheduled to take place no later than 48 hours after the cleaning is completed and the property must be left unoccupied during this time. Any guarantee obviously only applies to areas within the property witch we have cleaned.
5.6 Whilst every effort is made to prevent damage, the company cannot accept responsibility for any shrinkage of carpets due to faulty or poor fitting. Neither will the company accept responsibility for damage to upholstery where clear cleaning instructions are not visible.
5.7: Cleaners of London regularly update our anti-virus software and cannot be held responsible for liability of any damage caused by computer viruses. All incoming correspondence is scanned for computer viruses as are our gong documents and emails. Please not that we will not open any files that our anti-virus software indicates are infected. Clients are advised to entire they have adequate virus protection is place at all times.
